Sloppy weather slowed down but didn’t dampen the fellowship, fun, and hard work Saturday and Sunday at Frank and Debbie Bradt’s corn harvest, done the old-fashioned way:
With teams of well-appointed horses.
Dozens of teams and their drivers turned out for the event as did spectators willing to lend a hand for a chance to spend time around the hard-driving equines.
The ladies auxiliary of the Carlisle Fire Department provided refreshments; the horses took advantage of the corn to grab snacks on the run.
