Two Fultonville men were charged with deer-jacking after an incident on Green Road in the Town of Sharon October 16, according to state Department of Environmental Conservation officials.
Nunziante Santoli, 36, and Jeremy J. Harrington, 36, were charged with two counts, said DEC officials, as well as other EnCon violations including shooting over a public highway and possessing a loaded firearm in a vehicle, following an investigation of a complaint from a citizen.
Mr. Harrington, a convicted felon, was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon, according to the DEC.
The investigation also resulted in the arrest of the men for a deer jacking incident in the Town of Root, Montgomery County, in September, DEC officials said. The men, who were arrested on October 17, are to return to court in both Sharon and Root.
