Another H1N1 clinic planned

Nearly 300 people turned out for the flu vaccine clinic at the Schoharie County office building last Wednesday.
Held by the county Health Department, the clinic drew 271 people who received the H1N1 vaccine, a seasonal flu vaccine or both.
This was the first vaccination clinic open to all. Earlier clinics targeted those most susceptible to the H1N1 virus.
Wednesday’s clinic was free.
The Health Department has scheduled another seasonal and H1N1 clinic for next Wednesday, January 13, 2-6pm, at the county office building in Schoharie.
The clinic is open to all New Yorkers over six months old. No appointments or pre-registiration is necessary.
In addition to scheduling next week’s clinic, the Health Department is continuing to supply vaccines to local health-care providers.
