For those who grew up there, it seemed like to Sharon Springs’ glory years Saturday and Sunday when the community hosted its 2nd annual Harvest Festival.
To everyone else—including the thousands of visitors—it was a reason to visit and hopefully, return.
The event featured local farms and produce, along with artisans, music, and more but the biggest draw was undoubtedly The Fabulous Beekman Boys.
The Planet Green reality TV show features Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge and is filmed in Sharon and at the Beekman Mansion.
Both men were on hand for autographs and to greet fans, Beek Geeks, both days.
Four local farms were highlighted in a tour Sunday and local foods were featured at meals at The American and Roseboro Hotels.
