12th CP Holiday Train here November 28

11/16/2010

The 12th annual Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will make its 2010 stop in Cobleskill Sunday, November 28.
With 14 cars decorated for the holidays—including a modified boxcar turned into a stage for traveling performers—the CP Holiday Train is expected to arrive at the Cobleskill Fire House at 6:15pm.
Independent Canadian recording artist Melanie Doane will headline this year’s show; “admission” is a non-perishable donation or gift card to Schoharie County Community Action Plan’s food pantry effort.
Santa and some of his helpers will also be on hand.
Since 1999, the CP Holiday Train has collected more than $4.8 million in donations and nearly 2.3 million pounds of food for pantries.
From Cobleskill, the train will travel to Delanson (8pm) and Schenectady (9:30pm.)
