Jefferson Heritage Day all-day fun Saturday

Jefferson's Heritage Day will be all-day affair this Saturday.
Good food, music, a parade and more will mark the annual celebration.
Scheduled events include:
•9:45, Magic show by Howard Schrumpf.
•10, Parade lineup at Jefferson Central School.
•10, Native American dancing and drummers.
•11, Parade along Main Street.
•Noon, greetings and introduction of guests on the green.
•Noon, Native American dancing and drummers.
•1, Pie and jam judging.
•1:15, Awarding of parade trophies.
•1:30, Jefferson Fire Department derby racing.
•2, Music with 2 of a Kind.
•3, Silent auction drawing.
•5:30, Music with Patty and The Migraines.
•7:30-11, Music and dancing with Jump Start.
All-day events include the Jefferson Fire Department's barbecue on the green, food by the Masons, a pancake breakfast at T&T's and the Jefferson Methodist Ladies selling homemade pies, ice cream and coffee at the church.
Also, there will be old-time demonstrations, a display by the Jefferson Historical Society, craft tables, blacksmithing and horseshoeing demonstrations, children's games, Charlie's Petting Zoo, antique cars and free carriage and pony rides around the green.
