Irene: Where to donate; just a start

The Schoharie County Community Action Program is collecting items at the former Movie Gallery in Cobleskill.
All items must be new. Supplies needed for Schoharie County include:
Rain coats, tarps, contractor-grade garbage bags, utility knives, rubber gloves, all-purpose cleaner, paper towels, pasta sauce, baby wash, denture adhesive, pillow cases, square shovels, spray bottles, cutlery, all types of batteries, clocks and heavy-duty work gloves.
Also, disinfectant wipes, sponges, bungee cords, Swiffer refills, hair conditioner, bug spray, kitchen towels, pillows, dog food, paper plates, buckets, lighter fluid, ropes and dish soap.
Also, coffee, razors, first-aid kits, bath towels, blankets, cat food, hoses, juice, washcloths, matches, laundry detergent, respirators-N95 masks and Clorox wipes.
Also, baby wipes, mayonnaise, shaving cream, sheets, antibiotic cream, mud boots, cat litter, flashlights, fans and charcoal briquettes..
Also needed are clothes for boys ages six to 14: socks, underpants, sweat pants, hoodies, tee shirts and sneakers.
For girls: tee shirts, sweats, hoodies, sandals, underpants, bras and sneakers.
Stamford: Teens Aiding the Catskills is collecting monetary donations. Send to Nicole Burgher, 617 Porn Road, Stamford, 12167.
Non-perishable food, toys blankets and toiletries can be dropped off at Ably Insurance, Main Street, Stamford; Delaware Valley Propane, Rt. 10, Hobart; and Stamford Central School.
Prattsville: Non-perishable items and clothing can be dropped of Van’s Variety, Grand Gorge, the Grand Gorge Fire Department, and Clark’s Restaurant in Gilboa.
