Holiday Farmers Market Saturday at Cobleskill FD

The Festival Farmers Market will host a Holiday Farmers Market on Friday, December 9, 3-7pm and Saturday, December 10, 9am-1pm at the Cobleskill Fire Department Hall, Cobleskill.
"A Merry Christmas is a Country Christmas" is the thought for this year's event," said Donna Olsen, market manager.
Twenty local vendors-farmers, producers and artisans-will provide unique, country homegrown and handmade items for sale.
For those who enjoy a good book, farmer's wife Dorothy Garner will have copies of her book, "Five and I Survived, Narratives of Ol' Schoharie County."
Woodcarver George Olsen will be there on Friday with wooden bowls and more.
From Schoharie, Darlene Patterson will bring antique trunks, covered books/albums and more.
Cecelia Coluccio from Esperance will have children's fleece jackets, while Terry Jeffry from Middleburgh will have primitive decorations, candles and ornaments.
Also available: Homemade candies, pasteurized poultry and eggs, USDA lamb, beef, herb mixes, cabbage and Brussels sprouts, maple syrup, honey, jams and jellies, and homemade breads, Cowbella yogurt and butter from Danforth Dairy in Jefferson, and Palatine Cheese, handcrafted jewelry, Schoharie County wool blankets, herbal products and more.
The Cobleskill Auxiliary will sell soup and sandwiches, coffee and hot chocolate.
Cobleskill-Richmondville FFA will sell boxes of grapefruit, oranges, etc. and gift baskets.
