he New York Power Authority will hold an informational meeting on the Blenheim-Gilboa Pumped Storage Project and its response to Hurricane Irene on Thursday, January 19, from 5-7pm, at the Holiday Inn Express in Schoharie.
NYPA has invited local elected officials and Schoharie County emergency management personnel to the meeting.
The public is invited as well.
Supervisors are considering suing the NYPA for flood damage to county-owned properties after Hurricane Irene.
Other municipalities and the Middleburgh and Schoharie Central School Districts could also join in any eventual lawsuit.
Not included in any action, however, would be damage homes or businesses.
