The Richmondville Days Committee is gearing up for another fun-filled weekend community celebration.
Set for Friday, June 1 through Sunday, June 3, this year's Ole Tyme Country Fair theme will bring back memories-and create some new ones-for old and young alike.
The committee is searching for volunteers to help plan for and carry out various events throughout the weekend.
Community groups and individuals are encouraged to join Saturday's parade through the village.
This year's parade will honor the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts.
In addition, organizers hope community groups will enter floats depicting their best recollections of Ole Tyme Country Fairs of days gone by.
The Richmondville Days Committee meets the first Thursday of the month, 7pm, at the Richmondville Fire House, and new members are always welcome.
