Cobleskill Village Police are investigating two break-ins at homes on Legion Drive.
Police Chief Lawrence Travis said the break-ins were discovered last week but the burglaries occurred "some time ago."
The homeowners were not at home at the time of the burglaries but have been notified of the break-ins, Chief Travis said.
The entries into the homes were made in the rear of the buildings and there were no physical signs of suspicious activities, the Chief said.
It is still being determined what was taken from the homes, police said.
The Chief said that a vehicle from one of the homes was apparently used but has been recovered.
The break-ins are still under investigation and Chief Travis said he is hopeful that an arrest will be made soon.
