Rain can't stop Richmondville Days
6/5/2012 |

Showers and gray skies couldn't put a damper on the 36th annual Richmondville Day festivities.
The skies opened just as marchers stepped off for Saturday's parade but the hour-long "Ole Tyme Country Fair"-themed event didn't miss a beat as fire departments, Little Leaguers, Boy and Girl Scouts, local politicians, and the C-RCS marching band--among others--made their way down Main Street.
Throughout the day there were kids' games, historical displays and demonstrations, raffles, music, and plenty of food.
Sunday, the fun continued with an ecumenical church service, music, and more food.
