The Schoharie County Occupancy Tax Board is seeking applications for its next round of funding.
Interested applicants can download grant guidelines and forms at schohariecounty-ny.gov under Public Announcements.
Deadline for submission to the Schoharie County Planning and Development Agency is 5pm February 23.
Grant awards will be announced around March 15.
Grants are intended to promote tourism and recreation in the county while increasing overnight stays; the program is funded by the county's four percent occupancy tax.
Supervisors and Occupancy Tax Board members have made $25,000 available for 2013.
Non-profit and for-profit clubs, organizations, groups, and businesses may apply.
