4-H offfers activities for Cabin Fever

The Schoharie County 4-H Program will be offering several programs to help youth fight off cabin fever this winter.
• Kids Can Cook Safely
Monday, January 21 from 9am-4pm at the Extension Center in Cobleskill.
Open to all Schoharie County youth ages 9 and Up. Learn to cook by making and eating three recipes plus a goodie bag to share with the family. The cost is $10. Register by January 16.
• The Mayan Adventure: a 4-H Robotics Program
A six week after-school program beginning January 29 in Schoharie. Open to youth in grades 4-6 who live in the Schoharie Central School District.
There is a fee for youth who are not enrolled in 4-H Afterschool at Schoharie Central School.
• Price Chopper Vegetable Marketing Program
An opportunity for youth to learn about growing and selling produce. Registration begins in February.
• Pre-Vet Science Winter Workshop
February 19-20, 9am-4pm at the Extension Center in Cobleskill. Open to Schoharie County youth in grades 4-6.
