College kicks off 7th Generation Lectures

SUNY Cobleskill invites community members to attend a panel discussion on sustainability as applied to Cooperstown, the home of the Baseball Hall of Fame, in the first of the Fall 2013 Series of 7th Generation Lectures, "Creating Sustainable Villages: What is Changing in Cooperstown, New York?" on September 19 at 8pm in Bouck Auditorium on the SUNY Cobleskill campus.
Sustainability is a term used in many situations.
Panelists will address the topic from their unique perspectives - with concern for the land, water and air quality.
Panel participants include Darla Youngs from the Otsego County Conservation Association, Willard Harmon from the Biological Field Station, Virginia Kennedy from the Otsego County Trust, and Robert Sutherland from the Mohican Farm/Clark Foundation.
The panel discussion begins at 8pm followed by a reception.
The event is free and open to the public.
