The Cobleskill State Police arrested a Carlisle man on charges of two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals after allegedly killing one kitten and causing serious injury to another.
Bryant A. Jeffers, 24, allegedly killed a kitten sometime within the past two months, according to police. On Monday, he is accused of throwing a 10-week-old kitten to the floor causing it to sustain head injuries and nerve damage.
He was arraigned in the Town of Cobleskill court and released to appear in court at a later date, police said.
