New Cobleskill Mayor Linda Holmes' first community meeting will be Monday at Teen Town, 6-9pm.
It is open to the public.
The meeting is the first of several planned by Mayor Holmes to stimulate public involvement.
While later meetings will focus on ideas and issues, Monday's will give residents a chance to meet the many new village officials.
Besides having a new mayor in Ms. Holmes, Cobleskill also has three new trustees on the village board and many new members on village committees, boards and commissions.
Monday's meeting will also have several surveys. One will gauge interest in a Neighborhood Watch program, another will ask what residents would like to see in Cobleskill as a whole, and a third will seek volunteers for projects.
