"Winter blues" at SUNY Cobleskill

SUNY Cobleskill's Spring 2014 Cultural Arts Series will present three "winter blues" events.
On Thursday, February 20, at 7:30pm the series debuts with Industrial Rhythm: High Energy Dance and Percussion. This New York City-based dance and percussion troupe will get you up and on your feet with original, high-energy music and choreography that utilizes everyday items as instruments.
On Tuesday, March 25 at 7:30pm Pometrics: Animated Short Films and Poetry will be showcasing an array of visually stunning moving images, from live action to animation via motion graphics, all based on or inspired by poetry.
From London-based onedotzero, this entertaining and thought-provoking series of short films will show the united power of moving imagery and poetry.
Concluding the series on Thursday, April 17 at 7:30pm is violinist Leo Milman and his band of guest artists as they present The Serenading Strings: A Kaleidoscope of Music, a musical experience abounding with world-class sounds that is unlike any other.
All events will be located in Bouck Theater on the SUNY Cobleskill campus. There will be no admissions fee, although donations are welcome.
