Old Stone Fort event to celebrate Easter Egg Museum

3/18/2014

The Schoharie County Historical Society Education Committee will host a special event, on April 5 in collaboration with the opening of the Easter Egg Museum in Schoharie.
The Badgley Annex Building, across from the Old Stone Fort, will be the site of the family friendly activities to take place from 1-3pm.
Children and their families will be able to have a picture taken wearing Victorian style hats, and make a thaumatrope toy, a silhouette picture and a stenciled Easter egg.
Families will also be able to enjoy homemade cookies.
All of the activities are free and participants will receive their Victorian picture a few minutes after it is taken due to post-Victorian technology.
The Badgley Annex is located at 145 Fort Road in Schoharie just off of State Route, 30.
