All school budgets passed

School budgets were overwhelmingly approved Tuesday in voting around the region.
At COBLESKILL-RICHMONDVILLE, voters passed the district's 2015-16 budget, 664-208.
Voters also approved the purchase of four large and two small school buses for not more than $567,000 by a vote of 651-218.
Incumbent school board members Melissa Bartlett and Dan Schulte won re-election.
Ms. Bartlett had 702 votes, Mr. Schulte had 463, and challenger Justin Smith garnered 359.
Voters also passed The Community Library's $264,125 budget, 646-224.
Harriet Berard, running unopposed, was re-elected to the library board with 554 votes.
SHARON SPRINGS voters passed their $9.3 million budget, 165-38.
Because the budget was up four percent-but taxes will drop 8.96 percent because of the new Wal-Mart PILOT-60 percent of those voting had to approve it and they did.
Kevin Kutzscher won a seat to the school board with 95 votes; Steven Bade polled 25. Both were write-in candidates.
A proposition to buy a new bus passed 152-51.
Voters at WORCESTER CENTRAL SCHOOL approved their school's $10.9 million 2015-16 budget, 202-70.
Michelle Francis won a three-way race for on five-year seat on the school board. She received 111 votes to Jillian Clark's 80 and Justin Frot's 78.
In MIDDLEBURGH, school voters approved a $20.77 million budget, 441-295.
They also approved a bus purchase, 404-334, as well as a proposition to sell 3.2 acres off of Cotton Hill Road, 601-135.
Becky Binder with 375 votes and Pam Standhart with 323 votes were elected to the school board.
Also on the ballot were: Michael Parker, who received 244 votes, Tom Wargo, who got 126 votes, Laura Arnwine, with 106 votes, and Doralee Mickle, with 94 votes.
SCHOHARIE school residents approved a $22.38 million budget, 308-137.
They also approved a bus purchase, 253-182 and elected Mark Quandt, with 344 votes, and Bill Nuehnle, with 339 votes, to the school board.
GILBOA-CONESVILLE voters approved their $10.3 million budget, 120-32, elected Harold Mattsson to the school board with 126 votes, approved a bus purchase from the capital reserve fund, 119-35, and voted to increase that capital reserve from $500,000 to $1 million, 105-45.
And at JEFFERSON CENTRAL SCHOOL, voters approved their budget, 121-55, agreed to purchase a bus, 118-57, and elected Peter Pochily to the school board with 144 votes.
