Tague to challenge Milone for Schoharie seat

5/26/2015

It is only May but a battle for the supervisor's seat in the Town of Schoharie has already begun.
Chris Tague announced Monday that he will be seeking the supervisor's seat in Schoharie against incumbent Gene Milone.
"Over the past couple years I have been asked several times to consider running for political office," Mr. Tague stated Monday.
"After many years of managing other candidate's campaigns and after long consideration, prayer, and discussions with Chairman Lew Wilson, my family and employer, I have decided it is time."
Mr. Tague, a Republican, is making his official announcement on Friday at 6pm on the steps of the County Courthouse.
Mr. Milone, who is completing his second term as supervisor, has already announced that he will be running again.
Mr. Milone, a Democrat, defeated Martin Shrederis in 2013.
