Workshops set for arts grants

The New York State Council on the Arts is a funding agency that provides support toward the activities of nonprofit organizations and individuals in New York State to bring artistic programs of high quality to the State's citizens.
Applications for these funds are cyclical with the FY16 funding cycle to begin in July.
Attendance at a workshop is mandatory for new applicants and suggested for returning applicants.
These workshops will cover two types of grants being offered for FY16: Project Support and Individual Artist grants.
The dates are: Thursday, July 16, Middleburgh Library (323 Main Street, Middleburgh) 6:30pm; Wednesday, August 5, Sharon Springs Library (129 Main Street, Sharon Springs) 6pm; Saturday, September 12, Community Library (110 Union Street, Cobleskill) 11am or by appointment.
