Jefferson Heritage Day is Saturday

Jefferson will celebrate the past, present and future this Saturday with Heritage Day on the Village Green.
Free activities will include pony rides, a petting zoo, bounce house, Chee-chee the Clown, who'll be making balloon characters; face painting, temporary tattoos and more.
At 11am, there will be a parade down Main Street; free musical acts and performances under the big tent will also begin at 11am.
Entertainment will include Native American dancers, the TLC Cloggers, Hot Pots, Country Express, and Patty and Mygraines with Off the Record finishing off the night.
The Jefferson Fire Department and Rescue Squad will be offering fire truck rides and blood pressure screenings.
The Maple Museum will be hosts an exhibit by the Historical Society featuring 50 years of maple-making, and there will be games, raffles, a dunk booth, a pie and jam contest, and the Bodacious Beard contest.
There will be a kid-friendly movie under the stars beginning at dusk, so bring your blankets.
