20 places to visit on Family Farm Day

More than 20 local farms and farmer's markets will open their doors to visitors looking for a chance to learn where their food comes from this Saturday from 10am-4pm, as part of the 3rd annual Schoharie County Family Farm Day.
The free event will be held rain or shine.
Printed guides, including a map, are available in a downloadable PDF version at FamilyFarmDay.org.
A limited supply of Thermo-Snack insulated bags will available at the stops.
Shoppers are also advised to bring their coolers.
2015 participating farms include: Barber's Farm, Bison Island Farm, Black Willow Pond Farm, Bohringer's Fruit Farm, Brookworks LLC, Buck Hill Farm, Buck's Maple Farm and Buckvale Dairy Farm, Cold Spring Farm.
Also, Danforth Jersey Farm (Cowbella), Heather Brook Clydesdales, Heather Ridge Farm, Hessian Hill Farm, Kymar Farm Winery & Distillery, Parsons Farm.
Also, Reed's Real Beef Farm, Royal Oak Farm, Schoharie Valley Farms Carrot Barn, Signal Hill Farms, Stone House Farm, SUNY Cobleskill Campus Farm, Weathertop Farm, Wellington's Herbs & Spices.
