Boil notice for Central Bridge Water District

9/2/2015

A boil water notice has been issued for the Central Bridge Water District by the Schoharie County Department of Health.
A boil water notice means that you should bring all water that will be used for drinking or preparing food to a rolling boil for at least one minute and then cooled before use. This includes ice and teeth brushing. Boil and cool your pet's water also.
If you are washing dishes by
hand, use boiled water, rinse them in water with one tablespoon of unscented bleach
per gallon of water, spread them out and allow to air dry.
The water is
acceptable to use for bathing, washing hands, machine washing dishes on hot
(at least 170 degrees), and doing laundry.
This notice will remain in
effect until further notice from the Schoharie County Department of Health.
Updates will be posted on a Facebook page which can be found at www.facebook.com/SchoharieDOH.
