9/23/2015 |
Shopping, food and fun will all be part of Cobleskill Day this Saturday.
The day to celebrate small-town living will run from 9am to 2pm, with family activities in Centre Park and around the village.
A village-wide garage sale starts at 9am; maps to sales will be available at the Realty USA table in the park.
Events in Centre Park also begin at 9am. There will be a wide variety of vendors, including Cold Spring Farm, Fusion Community Church offering face painting and balloon animals, Literacy Volunteers with their dime-toss game and Cobleskill-Richmondville students from TREPS selling goods.
Also, vendors will be offering honey, maple products and baked goods, among others.
There will be a bounce house and games and crafts for kids, also starting at 9am.
The Friends of the Library's Basket Bonanza and Book Sale at the library begins at 9am, and the basket drawings will be at noon.
Music by Fusion will start in the park at 10am, and downtown sidewalk sales will also begin at 10am.
At noon in the park, Free Spirit will give a belly dance demonstration.
Sponsors for Cobleskill Day are Realty USA, Cobleskill Partnership Inc. and Little Law's Big Dreams.
Elsewhere in Cobleskill, the FAM 5K Run/Walk will start at 9am at the Fairgrounds, and there are activities throughout the day at SUNY Cobleskill for Alumni Weekend.
