Freedom Fair, gun rights rally, Saturday in Middleburgh

5/6/2016

The Schoharie County Chapter of SCOPE and other gun rights organizations will host a We the People Freedom Fair this Saturday, from 11am-3pm, at the Timothy Murphy Park in Middleburgh.
The event will feature music, raffles, exhibits, and food; more than two dozen speakers have been invited and there will be a Unity Cannon fire.
The Freedom Fair is intended to show support for Second Amendment and pro-gun legislators and opposition to the SAFE Act, said Larry Bradt of Carlisle, one of the organizers.
"We haven't gone away as some lawmakers predicted we would," Mr. Bradt said. "We have grown stronger in many ways."
The Freedom Fair will also honor veterans and recognize mothers-Sunday is Mother's Day-and there will be updates on gun rights lawsuits currently in the courts.
All are invited.
Invited speakers include: Mr. Bradt, Assemblyman Lopez, Stephen Aldstadt, Pete Vroman, Paloma Capanna, Randy Paciorec, Liz Reinhardt, and Mike McMahon.
Also, George Curbelo, Rob Shaver, Bob Bishop, Santos Lopez, John Wallace, Melody Burns, John Wallace, Sheriff Mike Carpinelli, Sheriff Mike Zurlow, former Sheriff Tom Lorey, E. Jay Stokes, Dave Bardicini, and Chris Lorey.
